TEAM REGISTRATION
2026 Entry Process
**Priority Entry Registration Period:**
Open Date: May 21, 2026
Close Date: Aug. 5, 2026
Coaches who want to ensure their team’s entry into the meet are strongly encouraged to submit team rosters through Direct Athletics and complete payment before August 4, 2026. Registration and payment may be completed through Direct Athletics.

Due to high interest in the event, meet management may close the entry process if capacity is reached prior to the August 5 standard entry opening date or at any point before the September 25 registration deadline.
Team rosters may be updated until the standard entry deadline of September 25. All requests to exceed the priority roster size of 15 athletes must be submitted for approval by August 7 to the meet director, David Lawhorn, (lawho9@aol.com).
Coaches of larger teams are encouraged to submit requests as early as possible, as approval of additional athletes will depend on the overall field size of the six college races at the time of review. Requests for extra athletes should include only the total number requested; full names and TFRRS ID numbers are not required at that stage. The names and TFRRS ID numbers for approved additional athletes must be emailed to David Lawhorn (lawho9@aol.com) by September 1. These should only include athletes not already entered through Direct Athletics (DA). Coaches may continue to update their DA meet roster through the meet entry deadline.
NOTE: You are not in the meet until you have REGISTERED and PAID.
Priority Entry Fee:
The 2026 priority entry fee is $375 per team and $750 for combined men’s and women’s teams that register and pay by August 4. If paying by check, payment must be received by the Louisville Sports Commission office no later than August 4.
**Standard Entry Registration Period:**
Open Date: Aug. 5, 2026
Close Date: Sept. 25, 2026
The standard entry period is ONLY for teams that did not submit rosters and payment during the Priority Entry period (May 21 – August 4).
Please remember that meet management may close the entry process if event capacity is reached prior to the September 25 registration deadline.
Standard registration and payment may be completed at Direct Athletics.

All requests to exceed the standard roster size of seven athletes must be submitted for approval by September 15 to meet director David Lawhorn at lawho9@aol.com.
As in 2025, the maximum number of additional athletes permitted during the standard entry period (if space is available) is limited to three per team. Please keep in mind that once the field size limit is reached for the six college races, additional athletes may no longer be accepted.
NOTE: You are not in the meet until you have REGISTERED and PAID.
Standard Entry Fee:
The 2026 standard entry fee is $450 per team and $900 for combined men’s and women’s teams registering between August 5 and September 25. If paying by check, payment must be received by the Louisville Sports Commission office by September 25.
