The 25th Annual Swags Louisville Cross Country Classic will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026, at E. P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park.
What is the race day schedule?
- Men’s College Gold Race: 9 a.m.
- Women’s College Gold Race: 9:45 a.m.
- Men’s College Blue Race: 10:15 a.m.
- Women’s College Blue Race: 11 a.m.
- Men’s College Silver Race: 11:30 a.m.
- Women’s College Silver Race: 12:15 p.m.
- Boys’ High School Invitational 5K: 1 p.m.
- Girls’ High School Invitation 5K: 1:30 p.m.
- Boys’ High School Open 5K: 2 p.m.
- Girls’ High School Open 5K: 2:30 p.m.
- Boys’ Middle School 4K: 3:15 p.m.
- Girls’ Middle School 4K: 3:45pm
What is the cost to attend the meet?
Admission for spectators is $10 per person for ages 14 and older. Advance ticket purchase is recommended to expedite entry. Click HERE to purchase.
When will teams and race assignments be posted and where?
Teams and race assignments will be posted in the Meet Information tab under Race Seeding.
Are there awards for team and individual winners?
Ye. Awards will be presented to the top three teams and top 25 individuals in each race.

Will athletes be able to run the course on Friday?
Yes. The course will be open to athletes on Friday. Meet management reserves the right to close the course due to inclement weather.

Where should I park?
Please follow the directions of the parking attendants upon entering the park. They will direct you to the appropriate parking areas.
Where is the team camping area?
The team camping area is located behind the softball fields. Teams are only permitted to camp in this designated area.
Will there be concessions?
Yes, concessions will be available.
Will merchandise be sold at the event?
Yes. Event merchandise will be available for purchase at the merchandise tent located near the finish line chute.
Is the park wheelchair accessible?
Yes. E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park is wheelchair accessible. However, some unpaved areas surrounding the cross country course may present accessibility challenges.
Will there be a meet information table?
Yes. The meet information table will be located near the finish line chute.
Are there restrooms?
Yes. Restrooms are available throughout the venue. Flushable toilets and portable restrooms are located near the picnic pavilion at the top of the finish line chute. Additional restrooms are located inside the gymnasium/swimming pool facility approximately 100 yards north of the finish line.
What is the inclement weather policy?
In the event of inclement or severe weather, race officials will monitor local weather conditions throughout the day. If participants and spectators are required to clear the course, announcements will be made over the PA system and by bullhorn. The meet director will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates regarding any weather-related delays or cancellations.
