When and where will the event take place?
The 19th Annual Live in Lou Cross Country Classic will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, at E. P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park.

- 8K Men’s Gold Race #1 – 9 am*
- 5K Women’s Gold Race #1 – 9:45 am*
- 8K Men’s Blue Race #2 – 10:30 am**
- 5K Women’s Blue Race #2 – 11:15 am**
- 8K Men’s Silver Race #3 – 11:45 pm**
- 5K Women’s Silver Race #3 – 12:30 pm**
- 8K Men’s Open Race #4 – 1 pm**
- 5K Women’s Open Race #4 – 1:45 pm**
* Teams that are selected to compete in Gold Races will need to provide evidence/documentation that ALL required race-specific COVID-19 testing and protocols have been met as of race day.

What is the cost to attend the meet?
There is a $5 per person parking fee.
What teams are entered?
Teams are listed under Meet Information. Please check back regularly for updates.
When will race assignments be posted and where?
Race assignments can be found in the Meet Information Tab under race seeding.
Are there awards for team and individual winners?
There will be no team or individual awards in 2020.

Will athletes be able to run the course on Friday?
Yes the course will be open to athletes on Friday. Meet management reserves the right to close the course for inclement weather.

Where should I park?
When approaching the park, follow the parking attendants. They will direct you to the correct parking lots. You will be asked to pay your $5 parking fee as you arrive, so please be sure you have your payment ready for the attendant.
Where is the team camping area?
The team camping area is located behind the softball fields. This is the only area where teams are allowed to camp.
Will there be concessions?
There will be no concession vendors in 2020 due to social distancing protocols.
Are pets allowed on the course?
Pets are not allowed on the course.
Will merchandise be sold at the event?
Yes. A merchandise tent will be located at the finish line chute.
Is the park wheelchair accessible?
Yes. E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park is wheelchair accessible. However, there are unpaved areas surrounding the cross country course where accessibility may be challenging.
Will there be a meet information table?
There will not be a meet information table in 2020 due to social distancing protocols.
Are there restrooms?
Yes. Bathrooms are available in several areas. There are flushable toilets and port-a-lets by the picnic pavilion at the top of the finish line chute. There are also bathrooms located in the gymnasium/swimming pool, which is located 100 yards north of the finish line.
What is the inclement weather policy?
In the event inclement or severe weather is forecast, race officials will monitor the weather in the local area. If a decision is made that participants and spectators must clear the course, an announcement will be made over the PA system and through the use of bullhorns. The meet director will continue to monitor the weather to determine if there will be weather-related delays or cancellations and announced accordingly.
